ESSE HEALTH H1N1 FLU VACCINATION CLINICS
While most children will receive the H1N1 flu vaccination at school, Esse Health Pediatricians are working with public health officials to help vaccinate children between 6 months and 5-years old. Some Esse Health Pediatricians will be administering the H1N1 vaccination to patients during specified flu clinic hours, and others will be offering during regular business hours. Below is a list of all participating Esse Health providers and information about when the vaccinations will be available. For questions, please contact your Esse Health Pediatrician.
***Currently we are waiting to receive information from the Federal Government and Public Health Officials to see when the H1N1 vaccinations will be available. Please check our website frequently for updates. ***

H1N1 Flu Vaccination Information
- No additional H1N1 vaccine for infants is available. If there is a need for the first or second H1N1 dose please obtain through any alternate source.”
- We currently have H1N1 vaccine for children aged three years and up. We will also likely immunize eligible patients who just happen to be in the office. Patients who receive this vaccine will need a second dose when available. While our previous focus has been on children that are not yet in school, we are now immunizing older children at this time.
Obviously, the current supply will in no way meet the expected demand of our practice. Please remember that we do not have an active role in the distribution of this vaccine.
Please bear with us. All indications are that eventual production of H1N1 vaccine will result in adequate supplies for all who wish to be vaccinated.
H1N1 vaccination is not business as usual for our practice. We are participating in national efforts to reduce influenza burden in our communities.
Please call the office to schedule a same day appointment. We may have to defer to another day depending on the number of appointment requests.
