Kara is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a particular interest in suicide loss survivorship, sucicde risk identificuation, intervention and prevention. She is also a faculty member at Maryville University where she teaches graduate level nursing. 

Personal Notes

Kara has been married to her husband for 25 years and raised 2 children. Her son and husband are World War II reenactors, and her family enjoys traveling for these events. She loves antiques and has a house full of them. She loves dogs too, but her husband frowns on a house full of those.
