On May 18th, employees, family members, patients and friends of independent physician group Esse Health walked to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke along with promoting walking as part of a healthy lifestyle. In additional to being a sponsor of the American Heart Association’s 2019 Metro St. Louis Heart Walk, Esse Health raised more than $4,300 to support cardiovascular research and educational programs for the St. Louis community.

The Heart Walk is held nationwide in an effort to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. The money raised goes towards cardiovascular and heart disease research and the promotion of heart health around the country.
