ST. LOUIS –Esse Health On Saturday, May 14th, employees, family members, and patients of independent physician group Esse Health walked to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke and promote walking as part of a healthy lifestyle. In addition to being a sponsor of the American Heart Association’s 2016 Metro St. Louis Heart Walk, Esse Health registered more than 130 walkers and raised more than $6,000 to support cardiovascular research and educational programs for the St. Louis community.

The Heart Walk is held nationwide in an effort to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. The money raised goes towards cardiovascular and heart disease research and the promotion of heart health around the country.
