ST. LOUIS – St. Louis-based physician group Esse Health was a proud sponsor of the American Diabetes Association’s Step out: Walk to Stop Diabetes for the fifth year in a row. On Saturday, October 12, approximately 200 Esse Health employees, patients, family and friends participated in the annual walk. Esse Health’s team raised more than $2,000 to help the ADA provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

Esse Health also had a tent at the event, where employees provided first aid and blood glucose testing for other walk participants (photo of the tent available at http://tinyurl.com/lz8px2q).
